We visit older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, those with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. We start every arrangement with a proper conversation rather than a form. What can somebody still manage, what has become hard work, what would they like their week to look like, and what would they rather we did not interfere with. Those answers become the plan, written plainly and revisited when life changes instead of left to age in a folder. Calls range from a short morning visit through to several longer ones a day, covering personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and housework, help to get out of the house, and genuine company for people who might otherwise speak to nobody. Where someone lives with dementia we hold the routine and the faces steady, because unfamiliarity is what unsettles people most. We keep our rounds local so carers are not racing between calls and people see a small, familiar team. Staff train before working alone and are supervised in people's homes afterwards. We are a newer team and have not yet had a full inspection of our own, which we would rather say up front than have you discover. Please ask us anything before you decide.
