About New Key
New Key Bristol supports adults to live in their own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Our starting point is that a home belongs to the person living in it, and that support belongs in the background of a life rather than at the centre of it. We work with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people managing mental health conditions, with people living with a physical disability, and with older people and younger adults who need support at home. What we do varies a great deal from person to person. For some it is help with personal care, medication and running a household. For others it is about keeping a tenancy going, managing money, getting to work or college, cooking, shopping and staying in touch with the people who matter. Communication is something we take time over, because people express themselves in many different ways. Routines are kept steady, changes explained in advance, and decisions left where they belong. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you would like to talk about support for yourself or somebody you care about, please get in touch and we will take things at your pace.
