About Master Care Southwest

We are Master Care Southwest, and we provide care in people's own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The reason we do home care rather than anything else is simple. Home is where the routines make sense, where you know where everything is and where you are still the person in charge, and holding on to that is worth a good deal of effort. We support older people, including many living with dementia, where familiarity and a calm and patient approach achieve more than anything else. We support adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who want support that builds independence rather than quietly taking it over. Support starts with a conversation in the person's own home. What does the day look like now? What has become difficult? What do you still want to do yourself? From those answers we build a plan of visits, whether that is half an hour in the morning, several calls a day, or longer stretches so that a family carer can get out of the house properly. We are a newer registration and have not yet had an overall rating published by the Care Quality Commission, which we mention plainly rather than leaving you to wonder. We are happy to talk about how we work, who our staff are and how we train them, so please ring and ask.
