About Hometree Care

Hometree Care supports people in their own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We work with older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, people managing mental health conditions, and people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment. We think home care should be arranged around a person's existing routine rather than a set of standard packages. So we start by asking what has become difficult and what someone would rather keep doing for themselves. From there we agree what our visits will cover. That may be help with washing and dressing, support with medication, meals, laundry and housework, shopping, or help to get out and keep appointments. We keep our teams small and consistent because trust is what makes personal care in your own home bearable, and because a carer who knows someone well notices quickly when things have changed. Reliability matters just as much. A late visit is not a minor inconvenience when you are waiting for help to get out of bed, so we plan our rounds realistically and tell people promptly if anything has to change. We keep families informed with the person's agreement and raise concerns early with GPs and community teams. If you would like to talk through care at home, we are glad to visit and discuss it with no obligation.
