The first conversation takes as long as it needs, with the person and anybody they want present, and we ask the questions that referral forms never reach. What do you still want to do for yourself. What time does your medication really need to be taken. What makes a morning go badly. Who should we ring when something changes. We keep consistent carers with the same people wherever the rota allows, and our staff are trained for the specific needs they will meet. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we welcome direct questions from anyone weighing us up.
