About Faith House Home care

We are Faith House Home Care, supporting adults in their own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We support older people and people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need help with daily life. Depending on the person, that might be one short call a day or several visits covering personal care, medication, meals, housework, shopping and company. Because we are guests in somebody's home, they set the terms. We ask how things are usually done and we do them that way rather than arriving with a system of our own. We agree the times that suit and we keep to them, since a late call is no small matter when somebody is waiting to get up or needs their tablets. Wherever we can we send the same small group of workers, because a familiar face is easier to let in and a worker who knows somebody notices sooner when they are unwell. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Until we have, please ask us direct questions about how we recruit, train and supervise, and who you can reach out of hours. We will answer plainly.
