About Angel Care Support

Angel Care Support is a home care agency supporting people in their own homes across South Gloucestershire and the Bristol area. Care at home is the whole of what we do, and we would rather do that one thing attentively than spread ourselves thinly. Our visits are shaped by the person. They may involve help to wash and dress, support with medication, preparing a meal, assistance with mobility and moving safely about the home, light household tasks and shopping, or simply reliable company at a set time each day. Some clients want one short call each morning and others need support several times over. Support is agreed with the person before anything begins. We ask what time they like to get up, what they want to eat, what they want help with and what they would far rather manage themselves, and we involve family as far as the person wishes. The plan goes in writing and is reviewed when circumstances change rather than left to drift. We try hard to keep the same carers calling on the same people, because reliability and a familiar face are what make care at home work.
