About Charlma Well-Being
Charlma Wellbeing provides care and support at home in Wantage and the surrounding part of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and with younger adults, in their own homes and on their own terms. Our offer is deliberately clear. We help people with the practical business of the day so that they can carry on living where they want to live. That might be a short call in the morning to help somebody wash, dress and get going safely, a hand with meals and medication, support to keep the house in order, company on a trip out, or a visit at the end of the day to settle someone comfortably. Reliability is what we ask to be judged on. Home care goes wrong when visits are late, rushed or covered by a different person every time, so we build small teams around each person and protect that consistency. If we cannot cover something properly, we would rather say so than promise and let somebody down. Younger adults often want something quite different from a traditional care package, built around work, study, friendships and independence rather than around a rota. We are comfortable planning that way, and we would far rather be told plainly what somebody wants than guess at it. If you are looking into support at home in the Wantage area, for yourself or for a relative, please get in touch and we will talk it through without pressure.
