About Rynes Healthcare
Rynes Healthcare provides care and support to people in their own homes in and around Reading. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have learning disabilities and autism, and with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather put that at the front than bury it. It is not the rating we want and we are not going to explain it away. We have an improvement plan, we are working through it, and anyone considering our support is entitled to ask exactly what is being changed and what evidence there is that it is working. We will answer that question directly. The work itself continues in the meantime, and it matters to the people who rely on it. Our carers help with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out into the community, and we plan each arrangement with the person rather than simply around a list of tasks. We are trying to build greater consistency of carers and tighter oversight of what happens at each visit, because that is where reliable home care begins.
