About Tommy-Bee Care
Tommy Bee Care supports people in their own homes across Oxford and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability. The point of care at home is that life carries on where it already is. Nobody has to pack up a house, leave a garden or learn a new neighbourhood. Our job is to fit around the household rather than reorganise it, so we begin by asking how things already run and build the support to match. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or simply for a change of air. Some people want half an hour each morning. Others need several calls a day. The right amount often changes over time, and we would rather revisit it than leave somebody with an arrangement that has stopped fitting. We keep teams small and consistent, because a familiar carer notices when today is not a normal day, and that early noticing is frequently what keeps somebody safely at home. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are happy to answer questions about recruitment, training and supervision.
