About Seabrook Services
We are Seabrook, a home care agency in Oxford. We support older people and younger adults in their own homes, including people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, and people with a physical disability. Care at home is not care delivered somewhere smaller. It happens in somebody else's space, on their terms, and we are there by invitation. That shapes how we work in practical ways: asking before we move anything, putting it back where it belongs, and fitting the visit around the household rather than expecting the reverse. For people living with dementia, continuity is a condition of the work rather than a preference. A familiar carer makes a visit possible where an unfamiliar one, however capable, may not. For autistic people and adults with learning disabilities, predictability matters just as much: saying what will happen and when, and then being right about it. Supporting somebody with a mental health condition asks for consistency over time and carers who do not treat a difficult week as a reason to step back. We keep families informed and review arrangements as needs change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
