Direct Link Care
Direct Link Care is a home care agency in Oxford, Oxfordshire (OX4 4GP).
About Direct Link Care
We provide care at home in Oxford and across Oxfordshire. Those we support include older adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and younger adults. Support is designed one person at a time. What works for somebody managing at home in their nineties bears no relation to what a younger adult needs to live independently. Reliability is the part of this sector that most often fails, so it is where we concentrate. Rounds are built to survive an ordinary bad morning, we do not take on packages we cannot staff, and if we are going to be late we ring rather than leave somebody sitting and wondering. We write down how each person likes things done, in their own words where we can, and we expect carers to have read it before arriving rather than working it out on the doorstep. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that plainly. Ask us how we recruit and train, and meet the carers beforehand.
