About 1st Homecare
We are 1st Homecare in Oxford, supporting people in their own homes across the city and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability. The point of care at home is that life carries on where it already is. Nobody has to pack up a house, leave a garden or learn a new neighbourhood. Our job is to fit around the household rather than reorganise it, so we begin by asking how things already run and build the support to match. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or simply for a change of air. Some people want half an hour each morning. Others need several calls a day. The right amount often changes over time, and we would rather revisit it than leave somebody with an arrangement that has stopped fitting. We keep teams small and consistent, because a familiar carer notices when today is not a normal day, and that early noticing is frequently what keeps somebody safely at home. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about care at home in Oxfordshire.
