About Vine Living
Vine Living provides care and support to people in their own homes in Didcot and the surrounding part of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, and people managing mental health conditions. The purpose of the support we give is to help people live the life they want in their own home, with the help they need and nothing beyond that. We start by asking what somebody wants to be able to do rather than listing what they find difficult, and we plan from there. In practice that can mean help with personal care, prompting and support with medication, cooking, shopping, laundry and keeping the home in order, support with money and paperwork, or help to get out to work, college, appointments and activities. For many people, a good part of the value lies in having somebody steady alongside them while skills and confidence grow. Support is agreed with the person, written plainly and reviewed honestly. Where somebody becomes more independent, we step back rather than carrying on out of habit. Our staff are trained for the needs they support and we keep teams consistent wherever we can. If you would like to discuss support at home in this area, please contact us.
