About Day and Nightcare Assistance
Day and Nightcare Assistance supports people in their own homes in Banbury and across Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people managing mental health conditions and with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment. Some of the people we support need help at one point in the day. Others need several calls, and some need somebody present overnight, which is a particular kind of work. A waking night is not a shorter day shift. It asks for staff who stay alert and unobtrusive, who know what a person's ordinary night looks like and can tell when it is not ordinary, and who can settle somebody at three in the morning without turning the whole house on. Our carers help with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out of the house, and we plan each arrangement with the person and whoever they want involved. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are glad to talk through options with no obligation.
