CaringPlus Healthcare provides care and support to people in their own homes in Abingdon and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. Before anything is agreed we visit, talk with the person and, where they want it, their family, and work out what help would actually make a difference to the week. Support arranged any other way tends to suit the agency rather than the household. The help itself may include personal care, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, shopping, laundry and housework, and support to get out to appointments, education or work. We review arrangements honestly as circumstances change. We keep the same carers visiting the same people wherever we can. Our staff are trained for the needs they support, supervised properly and encouraged to raise concerns early.
