About Leda Homecare

Leda Homecare provides care in people's own homes in Worksop and across north Nottinghamshire. Most of the people we visit are older, and many are living with dementia, a physical disability, sight or hearing loss, or a mental health condition. Our aim is straightforward: to make staying at home a realistic option for as long as it is the right one. That might mean help with getting up, washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals, shopping, laundry or keeping on top of the house. It often also means being the person who notices that something has changed and telling the family or the GP before it becomes serious. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We are not going to talk around that. We have gone through what the inspection identified, particularly how we plan and record care and how closely we supervise and support our carers, and we have made changes. We are happy to discuss openly with anyone considering us what has improved and what we are still working on. Continuity matters to us. We try to keep the same carers visiting the same people, and to give them enough time to do the job properly rather than watch the clock. If you are arranging support in Worksop, please call us and we will come out and talk it through.
