About First Class Care Services

First Class Care provides support at home to people in Nottingham and across Nottinghamshire. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people who have mental health needs or physical disabilities, with younger adults and with people recovering from an eating disorder. Every package is planned individually because the people we support want quite different things. We visit first, talk it through with the person and anyone they want present, agree in plain language what help is needed and what they want to get from it, then review it honestly as circumstances change. A visit might mean personal care and medication, help with meals, shopping and the house, or support to get out to appointments, work or the places that keep somebody connected. Where a person is in recovery from an eating disorder, mealtimes are handled calmly and according to the plan agreed with them and the professionals involved rather than improvised on the day. Familiar carers make home care work, so we keep teams small and consistent, brief our staff on the person rather than just the tasks and let people know if we are delayed. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are registered with them and work to their standards. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
