We work with older people and with younger adults, and the support we provide is shaped by what each person actually needs. Each of those asks something different of us in how we communicate, how we pace a visit and how we plan for the days that are harder than usual. Support is planned with the person, not for them. We ask what somebody wants their week to look like, what already works and where help genuinely makes a difference, and we write the plan from those answers. It changes when their circumstances change rather than waiting for a review date. We keep the same carers with the same people as far as the rota allows, and our staff are trained for the needs they will actually meet.
