We are J S Parker in the North East, based in Corbridge and supporting people in their own homes across Northumberland and the surrounding area. Our most recent CQC overall rating is outstanding. For people living some way from the nearest town, our carer may be the main contact of the day, and the time it takes to sit and talk is part of the job rather than an extra. Support ranges from a short morning call to several visits covering personal care, medication, meals and help getting out and about. Wherever somebody can still do something themselves, we support them to keep doing it rather than taking it over. We keep the same carers with the same households as far as we can, and our staff are trained for the work they actually do. We liaise with district nurses, GPs and social workers.
