About Perfect Community Care
Perfect Community Care is a home care agency working in Newham and the neighbouring parts of east London. We visit people in their own homes so that they can stay in the streets and the community they know. Some people need one short call a day, some need several, and some need someone with them for longer periods, including overnight support where that is what keeps a person safe. We support older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people with a physical disability, and people with sight or hearing loss. Younger adults are a real part of our work too, and the aim there is nearly always the same, which is practical help that leaves the person in charge of their own life rather than managed by it. Newham is a place of many languages and many kitchens, and we try to reflect that. Where we can, we match carers to households so that food, faith and conversation feel familiar. We keep the same carers with the same people wherever the rota allows, because continuity is what lets somebody notice that a person is quieter than usual, or eating less than last week. Care plans are written with the person, and reviewed with them rather than sent to them. If a visit time is not working, or a carer is not the right fit, we want to hear about it and we will sort it out. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
