About Hopeful Futures CIC
We are Hopeful Futures, and we provide support to adults in their own homes in Newham and the surrounding parts of east London. Much of our work is with autistic people and adults with learning disabilities, including many younger adults who are building a life of their own, and we also support older people who need help to carry on living independently. What we do is practical and specific to the person. It can mean help with personal care, medication and health appointments. It can mean cooking, shopping, cleaning, managing money and keeping a tenancy going. Just as often it means support to do the things that make a week worth having, whether that is a job, a course, volunteering, a club, the gym or seeing friends and family. Where somebody is learning to do more for themselves, our aim is to step back as their confidence grows rather than to keep the hours going. We pay close attention to how each person communicates and to what makes a day feel manageable. Predictable routines and clear information given in good time matter enormously, so we get those details right and record what works. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
