About DJ Vision Healthcare
DJ Vision Healthcare supports people in their own homes across Newham. We work with older people, adults with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Nearly everyone who contacts us wants to carry on living where they are. Our job is to make that practical rather than to take over. Depending on what is needed, that might be a single morning call to help someone wash, dress and get the day going, several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company, or longer periods of support where needs are more constant. Where sight or hearing is reduced, we adapt how we communicate and keep things where the person expects to find them. Where somebody has a physical disability we think properly about equipment, moving and handling, and how much help to offer, because being helped more than you want is its own kind of loss. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather say that plainly than leave you to find it elsewhere. We know the areas that were identified, work is under way, and we are happy to go through any of it with anyone considering us. Please ring, ask directly what has changed, and judge us on the answers.
