We are Carefocal, based in Newham and supporting people in their own homes across the borough. We work with older people and people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults building independent lives. Support ranges from a short daily visit through to several calls covering personal care, medication, meals and help getting out. Where somebody needs care that takes specialist understanding, we prepare the carers going in rather than leaving them to work it out. We protect continuity, train our staff for the work they actually do, and keep the office reachable. We liaise with GPs, district nurses, community teams and social workers.
