About Samfos Health
Samfos Health in Merton provides care and support in people's own homes in New Malden and the surrounding area. Our purpose is to make home a place where somebody can be properly cared for, so that moving elsewhere is a choice rather than something forced on them. We support older adults with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out safely. We support people living with dementia, where the most useful thing we can offer is a familiar person who is not in a hurry and who knows how this individual likes things done. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where communication suited to the person and support that builds skills rather than replacing them make the difference. We help people with physical disabilities with washing, dressing, mobility and getting out into the world, and we support people with a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we announce ourselves, speak and explain so that nobody is talked over. We support younger adults too, whose care is planned around work, study, family and independence. We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as the rota allows, because trust is built through familiarity. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Please contact us and ask us anything before you decide.
