About Ash Tree Homecare
We are Ash Tree Homecare, and we support people in their own homes across Rochester and the wider Medway area. Home is where routines, belongings and neighbours are, and our purpose is to make staying there possible for as long as it is the right thing. We visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals and getting out and about, and we work with younger adults building or holding on to their independence. Our carers support people living with dementia, people with a learning disability or who are autistic, people with a physical disability, and those with sight or hearing loss. We also support people managing an eating disorder, where we follow the plan agreed with their clinical team and keep mealtimes calm, predictable and free of pressure. Visits are arranged around the person rather than around our rota wherever we can manage it, and we aim for continuity so that the same small group of carers comes each week. That consistency is what allows someone to relax during personal care, and it is what lets our staff spot a change early and raise it with the family or the district nurse before it becomes a crisis. The Care Quality Commission most recently rated us good overall.
