We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience covers dementia, learning disabilities and autism, and support for people affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Support is agreed at home with the person and whoever they want involved. Where somebody has a learning disability or is autistic, we aim to widen what they can do rather than take it over, and we would rather spend an hour helping a person learn something than ten minutes doing it for them. Where somebody communicates in their own way we learn it and record it. Our carers are checked, trained and supervised. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
