About MAK Community Care
MAK Community Care Lincolnshire supports people in their own homes across Lincoln and the surrounding area. We work with people living with dementia, autistic adults and adults with a learning disability, people managing mental health conditions, people with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults and people working through difficulties with alcohol or drugs. Supporting someone at home is a different discipline from running a care setting, and supporting a younger adult towards independence is different again from supporting someone who simply wants to stay put. We plan for those differences rather than pretending one approach covers everything. Our starting point is always what the person wants their week to look like and what currently gets in the way of it. For some that means practical help with cooking, budgeting, appointments and travel. For others it means having someone reliable present at the times of day that are consistently hard. We keep the same small team going to the same person wherever we can. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we welcome direct questions from anyone considering us.
