About Camli Care
Camli Care supports people in their own homes in Lincoln and across the county. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with a physical disability and younger adults. Nearly everyone who contacts us wants to carry on living where they are. Our job is to make that practical rather than to take over. Depending on what is needed, that might be a single morning call to help someone wash, dress and get the day going, several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company, or a longer sit so a family carer can have a few hours to themselves. The first conversation is where the work really starts. We want to know how the day usually runs, what has become hard, and what the person can still do perfectly well and would rather we left to them. Support planned that way feels like help rather than interference, and it holds up better when things change. Covering a largely rural county means distances are real, so we build travel time into rotas properly and keep the same carers going to the same households. Continuity matters most where dementia is involved. A familiar carer who knows the house and the routine does more good in half an hour than a stranger could in twice that.
