Safe
Inspectors found that risks to people had been assessed and staff had guidance to reduce them. Medicines administration had significantly improved, though one person's cream did not have the date it was opened. There were enough staff and no missed calls. Staff were recruited safely and understood how to report abuse.
Effective
Inspectors found that people's needs were assessed before they started using the service. New staff completed an induction and were regularly supervised, with annual appraisals and spot checks. Staff supported people with eating and drinking where needed, and with access to healthcare.
Caring
Inspectors found that staff knew people well and treated them with kindness and respect. People's privacy and dignity were promoted. Care plans gave staff the information they needed to help people stay independent.
Responsive
Inspectors found that care plans were detailed and set out how people liked to be supported. Care plans were reviewed every year, or sooner when needs changed. There were processes for people who wished to complain, and there had been no complaints since the last inspection.

Inspectors found that the service had a clear vision and values that staff understood. There was an open and transparent culture, and staff felt well supported. Regular audits identified where action was needed.
