About Avengers Prime Care
Avengers Prime Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Ashford and across Kent. We work with older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Almost everybody who contacts us wants the same thing. To carry on living in their own house, with their own belongings and their own way of running a day, helped just enough to make that safe and manageable. Our job is to provide that help without taking the household over. We begin with a visit and an unhurried conversation about what has genuinely become difficult, which is often not what families assume. Sometimes it is washing and dressing, sometimes medication or meals, sometimes getting to appointments, and quite often it is simply that the days have grown very long. The plan follows from that and is revised as needs change. We keep the team around each person small and introduce new staff properly rather than sending somebody unannounced. For people living with dementia and for anyone who cannot see or hear well, a familiar voice at the door and an unhurried manner matter more than anything else we could offer. We are honest about our limits. If somebody needs more than we can safely provide we will say so and help them find who can. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please call us if you would like to arrange a visit.
