About Absolute Home Care
Absolute Home Care Kent provides support at home to adults in West Malling and across the county. The people we visit include older people who need help to carry on living in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults who need support to live independently. Those are very different kinds of support. For older people and people living with dementia, the priority is usually continuity and reliability: the same carers, arriving when they said they would, with enough time to do things properly. For younger adults and people with a learning disability, it is more often about independence, whether that means cooking, handling money, getting to work or college, or keeping up with friends. Working across a mix of small towns and villages means distances are real and public transport is thin. People here can become isolated long before they become unwell, so getting somebody out and keeping them connected is often as valuable as any practical task. We are guests in the homes we work in, and our staff are expected to behave accordingly and to be straight with us when something needs to change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk things over.
