About Audley Care - Audley Care Mote House
Audley Care at Mote House supports people in their own homes near Bearsted and across the surrounding parts of Kent. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people whose sight or hearing has changed and people whose difficulties involve an eating disorder or the use of alcohol or drugs. Our starting point is that somebody's home is their own and we are guests in it. The support we give should make daily life work better without taking it over. For many people that means help at the start and end of the day with washing, dressing, medication and meals. For others it is help with shopping, appointments and the running of a household, or company and a check that all is well. We plan visits so that people see the same faces. Consistency is what allows trust to build, and it is how our staff notice the small changes that are worth acting on early. We agree what is needed with the person and whoever they want involved, write it down plainly and change it when circumstances change rather than waiting for a scheduled review. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Get in touch if you would like to talk through support at home with no obligation.
