About Home Instead Senior Care
We provide care at home across Maidstone and the surrounding parts of Kent, and we build our support around long visits and consistent relationships rather than quick calls. Most of the people we support are older, and many are living with dementia. That work depends almost entirely on familiarity. A carer who knows how someone likes their morning to go, which chair is theirs and what topic will always raise a smile can turn a difficult visit into an easy one, so we match people carefully and keep those pairings steady. We also support adults living with mental health needs, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we communicate and how we work in someone's home. Younger adults are part of our work too. Companionship is a genuine part of what we do rather than a line in a brochure. For many of the people we visit, we are the main company of the day, and treating that as real work changes how a visit feels. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was outstanding. We were pleased with that, and we take it as a standard to keep meeting rather than a badge to display. If you are looking at care at home in the Maidstone area, please get in touch and we will come and talk it through with you.
