About Park View Domiciliary Care
Park View Domiciliary Care supports people in their own homes in and around Deal, Kent. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism and with people living with a physical disability, providing the practical support that makes independent living work. Our approach is to support people to run their own lives rather than to run their lives for them. That means we ask what someone wants their week to look like, what they manage well themselves and where help would make a real difference, and we build support around those answers. For some people that is assistance with personal care, medication and household tasks. For others it is help to get out to work, college, clubs or family, or support to build skills around cooking, shopping and managing money. We adapt how we communicate to suit the person, and we take time to learn what helps someone feel settled and what causes them stress. Routines that fit the individual make far more difference than any amount of policy. Keeping teams small matters here. People should not have to explain themselves to a new face every week, so we send carers who know the person and who are trained for the particular support they provide. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support.
