About Lauriem Ceaser Court (EC)
Lauriem Ceaser Court is a home care agency in Deal, Kent, supporting people in their own homes and in extra care housing in the town and the surrounding area. Our purpose is a plain one. We help people stay somewhere they recognise as home, with the support they need arriving reliably. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia and with people who have physical disabilities. Our visits may cover help to wash and dress, support with medication, preparing meals, assistance with mobility and moving safely about the home, light household tasks, or company and help to get out to appointments. Support is agreed with the person first. We ask what time they like to wake, what they want to eat, what they want help with and what they would rather do themselves, and we involve family and other professionals as far as the person wants. The plan goes in writing and is reviewed when needs change. We try to keep the same carers calling on the same people, because familiarity makes support easier to accept, particularly for someone living with dementia. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are regulated by them and are building the care planning, training and oversight a good rating requires. Anyone considering us is welcome to ask searching questions in the meantime.
