About MC Care
MC Care provides care at home for older people living in Dartford and the surrounding parts of Kent, including many people living with dementia. Home care is the whole of what we do, and we think there is something to be said for concentrating on one thing and doing it properly. Our carers visit people in their own homes to help with whatever has become difficult: getting up and dressed in the morning, managing medication, preparing meals, moving safely about the house, or keeping on top of the domestic jobs that turn into obstacles. For people living with dementia, staying in familiar surroundings is often the single most useful thing available, and our role is to make that possible for as long as it remains right. We plan support with the person and, where they want, with their family. Arrangements are reviewed as circumstances change. Wherever we can we send the same carers to the same households, because familiarity is what turns a visit from an intrusion into something people look forward to. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you are considering care at home for yourself or a relative, give us a ring. We will come out, talk it through and tell you honestly what we can cover.
