We provide care in people's own homes in Canterbury and across east Kent. Our aim is to give people the support they need to carry on living where they want to live, at the times they have agreed and from carers they know. We visit older people needing help with washing, dressing, meals and medication. We support people living with dementia, where a familiar carer and a settled routine matter more than almost anything else. We work with adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people whose sight or hearing is impaired, along with younger adults needing support to live independently. That range means careful briefing before a carer starts with somebody new, and small teams around each person so the face at the door is a familiar one. Everything begins with a home visit and an honest conversation about what would actually help, with family involved if the person wants that. The plan we write is in plain language, agreed rather than imposed, and revisited as circumstances change.
