Carecircle Healthcare is a home care agency working in Watford and across Hertfordshire. We support people in their own homes, from short daily visits through to longer periods of support for those who need more, and we build the arrangement around the household rather than expecting the household to fit around us. For older people we help with personal care, medication, meals, laundry and shopping, and with getting out to appointments, the shops or to see friends. Staying at home works best when somebody keeps an eye on the wider picture too, so we notice and report the things that are easy to miss, a change in appetite, a new unsteadiness, a tablet left in the pot. We support people living with dementia and the families caring for them. Here we keep visits at the same times with the same faces wherever possible, follow the routine that already works and avoid rearranging a home that somebody knows by heart. For adults with a physical disability we help with safe moving and with managing at home as independently as possible, and we also support younger adults, arranging visits around work, study or family instead of around our rota.
