About Vincent Place
We are Vincent Place, providing care and support to adults in their own homes in Stevenage and the surrounding part of Hertfordshire. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement, and we are not going to talk around it. We have looked closely at what the inspection found, changed how we plan and record support and how we supervise our staff, and we are open with the people we support and their families about the progress we are making. If you are considering us, please ask about it directly rather than taking a claim from us on trust. Beyond that, the point of what we do is not to take charge of somebody's life but to make the life they want workable. So we begin with what a person wants their week to look like and work back to the support that would make it possible, and where change is difficult we keep things predictable and prepare carefully for anything unusual. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support.
