About Dreamlight Healthcare
Dreamlight Healthcare provides care and support to people in their own homes in St Albans and the surrounding area. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with people who have physical disabilities and with younger adults who need support to live independently. Our visits are built around the person's own routine rather than a fixed package. That might be a call first thing to help with washing, dressing and medication so the day starts safely, support at several points with meals, mobility, laundry and the house, or a hand to get out to appointments, the shops and the people who matter. For plenty of the households we visit, having somebody familiar with time to talk properly counts for as much as anything else we do. We come out before anything begins, agree the plan with the person and whoever they want involved, write it in plain words and review it as needs change. We say honestly when we think somebody needs more than can safely be provided at home. Continuity is what families judge us on, so we work to send the same carers to the same households, arrive when we said we would and ring if we are running behind. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are registered with them and work to their standards. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
