About Services for Independent Living

We support independent living across Herefordshire, working from Leominster, and we provide care and support in people's own homes. The people we work with are a wide group: older people, many living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Independence is the word that matters most in what we do. Our aim is not to take tasks off people but to make it possible for them to keep running their own lives, in their own homes, on their own terms. That means help where help is genuinely needed and nowhere else, and it means listening to what somebody wants rather than deciding for them.
