About Focus Care Professionals
Focus Care Professionals provides support at home to adults in Haringey and the surrounding parts of north London. We visit older people who need help to carry on living in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need support to live independently. Alongside the practical tasks sits the part that appears on no schedule, which is noticing. A carer who knows somebody well can tell when they are eating less, sleeping badly, in pain or more confused than usual, and raising that early is often what keeps a person out of hospital. This is a varied part of London and the people we support come from many different backgrounds, which shapes practical things such as food and language.
