There is a less visible part of the job too. A carer who knows somebody well will notice when they are eating less, sleeping badly or seeming more confused, and raising that early is often what keeps a person out of hospital. We aim to send the same small group of carers to each person and to arrive when we said we would. Reliability is not a detail in home care. It is the foundation everything else sits on.
