About Safetynet Care
We are Safetynet Care Hampshire, a home care agency based in Fleet. We support older people and younger adults in their own homes, including people living with dementia, people managing a mental health condition and people with a physical disability. We begin every arrangement by finding out what somebody actually wants help with, which is not always what a referral form says. People tend to be clearer about what they want to keep doing for themselves than about what they are willing to hand over, and that is the more useful information to work from. Supporting somebody with a mental health condition at home asks for consistency above all. Some weeks go better than others. What helps is a carer who arrives as arranged, does not take a difficult day personally, and is not so easily put off that they disappear when things get harder. For people living with dementia, continuity is a condition of the work rather than a preference, and we build our rotas around it. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet received an overall rating.
