About Goodwill and Hope
Goodwill and Hope provides care and support to people in their own homes in Farnborough and across Hampshire. We work with older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people managing an eating disorder. Support belongs to the person receiving it. It is their home, their routine and their decision how help happens, and we fit around that rather than expecting the reverse. We visit first and take our time over the conversation, because what families assume is difficult and what the person finds difficult are often not the same thing. From that conversation we agree a plan, with family or an advocate involved whenever somebody wants them there, and we revise it as circumstances change rather than at fixed review dates. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting to appointments, and company for people whose days have grown quiet. Where somebody has an eating disorder, food and mealtimes can be complicated ground, and we handle that with care rather than with rules, working alongside the relevant clinical teams and keeping our approach consistent between staff. For people living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at their pace rather than the clock's. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support in the Farnborough area.
