About Willow Brook
Willow Brook provides support at home to people in Fareham and the surrounding parts of Hampshire. The work since has gone into the things that affect people directly, which are getting the right worker to the right person reliably, recording and administering medication properly, and making sure that when somebody raises a concern it reaches a manager quickly and is answered rather than lost. What we are trying to do has not changed. Support is planned with the person, in a form they understand, and covers what they want to be doing as much as the help they need. For many of the people we support that means making independent living workable, from cooking and budgeting to keeping a tenancy going and getting to work, college or the places they enjoy. For others it is personal care and practical help so they can stay in their own home. Consistent, familiar staff are essential to that, so we keep teams small and introduce new workers properly.
