About Care Together - 1st Floor The Corner House

We are Care Together, a home care agency based at Bransgore in Hampshire. We support older people and younger adults in their own homes, including people living with dementia, people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Our starting point is the life somebody already has rather than a list of what we could provide. What does an ordinary day look like, what has become hard work, and what does the person want to carry on managing themselves. The visits are built from those answers and reviewed as circumstances change. Continuity is where most of our effort goes. Sending the same carers to the same households takes more work to roster and it improves care more than anything else we could do, particularly for someone with dementia for whom a new face at the door is genuinely unsettling. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are glad of it, though what matters more to us is that the day an inspector saw should be an ordinary day for the people we visit rather than an unusual one.
