About Calida Care
Calida Care provides support in people's own homes across Basingstoke and the surrounding parts of Hampshire. We help people carry on living where they are settled, which for most of those we visit is what they want more than anything else. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic people, people with physical disabilities and people who live with sight or hearing loss. Some people see us for a short call once a day. Others need several visits, longer periods of support, or help that runs from the morning through to bedtime. Whatever the arrangement, we agree it with the person and with whoever they want involved, and we set it out plainly so there is no confusion about what has been promised. When needs change, and they usually do, we revise it rather than carrying on as before. Continuity is where we put most of our effort. A familiar carer makes support far easier to accept, particularly for someone living with dementia or for an autistic person who needs the week to be predictable, and familiarity is what lets us spot early when somebody is becoming unwell. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about care at home.
