About Virtuous Health Group
Virtuous Health Group provides care in people's own homes in Andover and across Hampshire. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, adults with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults, and people affected by eating disorders. That is a wide range of need, and it works because we plan each package around the individual rather than fitting people into a standard visit. For one person we are there briefly each morning to help with washing, dressing and medication. For another we are a steady presence through the day, supporting somebody to keep their own home, get to appointments and stay connected to the people around them. We agree what is genuinely wanted with the person and with anyone they want involved, and we review it honestly when things change rather than letting an arrangement run on because that is how it was first set up. Continuity is the part families raise with us most, and rightly so. We keep the same small group of carers going to the same person, because personal care is easier to accept from somebody you know and because a familiar carer notices early when a person is not themselves. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch and ask us anything you need to know.
